PCPS is a not-for-profit organization that provides a variety of planning consultation services to municipalities, both member and non-member, and also private sector clients. We specialize in municipal land use policy planning, site assessment and design and subdivision services.
PCPS has extensive rural, urban and intermunicipal planning experience in Alberta. PCPS planners utilize customized, practical planning processes to effectively address the purposes and issues involved in each planning project. Our planners work closely with communities (Councils, municipal administrators, landowners and interest groups) to achieve land use plans and policies that are supported by stakeholders and implementable by municipalities. In recognizing the importance of both economic and environmental sustainability, our plans pursue a sensitive balance of land development and resource conservation.
PCPS strives to make a difference through a collaborative approach to delivering locally based, sustainable solutions, which is why our shared services have been so successful. By building lasting relationships the organization can help clients evolve beyond the status quo to pragmatically implement innovative solutions and create a positive impact on the future growth of the communities we serve.
